What is the general premise of the video?
-The premise of this video is that there is an entire amazing world revolving around our society and the people within it, but we choose to be consumed by our phones and social media which dulls our perception of it.

Is the video effective in conveying it's intended message?
-I feel this video does a good job in conveying our warped and dulled viewpoint of the world due to social media.

Do you feel that this is more of a cautionary story (a warning) or more of an examination of our current social situation? Why?
- I feel this video is more of an examination of our current situation because this video represents the world we already live in, where we are totally engulfed in our digital world instead of the world around us.

My original suspicions were proven true, as the image was completely raw and not photoshopped. The image, as we know it now, is a close up shot of a little girl's face. She has a blank look on her face, signifying no discernible emotion and giving a atmosphere of innocence to her. I feel that there is no real hidden meaning behind the photo by itself, as knowing Helnwein's work, he tends to do a lot of work with people and faces. What's extremely interesting is that the image is of a massive scale but is in a location which is essentially hidden away in an industrial back alley. I think that this makes the name, "The Last Girl" very appropriate, because you would expect the last of something to be hard to find or hidden. I feel this really adds to the presentation of the piece, as it would not feel as special if it weren't shown in this way.
